Our rustic setting can be your mother ship for a great west coast experience.
From whale watching in Barkley Sound to relaxing by a cascading water falls.

Kildonan the area:
Located in the Uchucklesaht Inlet on the west coast of Vancouver Island , 25 miles out the Port Alberni Inlet. (14 Miles north of Bamfield).
49.00 N 125.00W

A cannery was built here in 1903 by the Alberni Packing Company, later known as the Uchucklesaht Cannery. The Wallace Brothers from Kildonan Scotland bought the cannery in 1910 establishing the present name Kildonan. B.C. Packers bought the cannery in 1928 and built a new managers home, now the Kildonan Cannery Lodge, in the mid 1940's. The cannery was shut down in 1960 and later torn and burnt down due to extensive deterioration.

The Kildonan Cannery Lodge was owned and used by a number of families over the years as a vacation property and most recently as a B&B style small business. It is situated on 4.25 acres on the shores of the Uchucklesaht Inlet.
